If we have classes, we do allow non-members to register for our classes.  We do ask for a $10.00 visitation fee for our special guest lectures, but after 2 visit we ask that you join for the year fee of $35.00 which will allow to see all guest speakers at no charge, plus you will also receive the membership fee for classes. Lori Dickman

Lori is a pattern designer, teacher, lecturer, and author. She offers a variety of Trunk Show/Lectures and Workshops. Two of those Lectures include: “My Favorite 3D’s: Diamond’s, Dresden’s & Drunkard’s Paths” in which she demonstrates how quilting templates are versatile “go-to” tools for piecing fast and fun quilts; and “Speedy Solutions for Cutting & Organizing Your Scrap Stash!” in which Lori shares her Tools of the Trade and her Scrapping Rule as she demonstrates her speedy methods of turning unruly scrap fabric piles into organized stashes of sorted scraps! Using her methods, you will quickly turn your stash into fantastic quilts…the Speedy Way!

Playing with fabric and color has been Lori’s passion for over 50 years. And teaching others to join in on this sewer’s/quilter’s love affair is near and dear to her heart! The art of “Making” has been a
wonderful journey for her!
Lori is an educator, an author, and a pattern designer with numerous books and patterns available on her website and a popular YouTube Channel (@quiltingwithlori). Her very popular “Speedy Solutions” books offer step-by-step techniques and patterns to turn your scrap stash into fantastic quilts! You can also find Lori teaching & lecturing
at the following national Quilt Shows & Seminars: Great Wisconsin Quilt Show, Madison WI; the Gulf States Quilt Assn, Baton Rouge, LA; and QuiltFest Virtual Schoolhouse 5, Mancuso Show Mgmt. New Hope PA.

Lori’s quilts and garments have won numerous awards in various contests around the country. Recently, four of her Art Quilts have been traveling in National Exhibits:
[1] “O’wl Sit Under the Light of the Oak Leaf Moon” National Quilt Museum contest,
“New Quilt from an Old Favorite.” National Quilt Museum; Paducah, Kentucky: April
thru June of 2019; and traveled until December 2020.
[2] “Bouquet of Flowers for Mom!”: 2020 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show Botanical Exhibit,
Madison, Wisconsin; and is traveling until September 2022.
[3] “Tangled Stars”: 2021 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show Art Deco Exhibit, Madison,
Wisconsin; and will travel with that Exhibit until September 2023.
[4] “Nancy on the Set” took the Blue Ribbon in the Nancy Zieman 40-Years Challenge of
the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show. This quilt will be traveling with that Exhibit until
September of 2024.
Lori’s paper-pieced design, Shield Ferns Quilt, is featured in
Klaudeen Hansen’s Collection of Quilts in the AQS 2024 Quilt
Art Engagement Calendar (American Quilter’s Society,
Paducah, Ky).
Lori’s desire is to inspire others to learn to love the art of quilt-
